Rainwater harvesting (RwH) system

Introduction
Rain water harvesting is a system of collecting, storing and distributing of rainwater for the purpose of using it as an alternative water system. It consisting of the 3 main components namely;
1.       Collection system
2.       Storing system
3.       Distribution system
Purpose of the system
The purpose of the system is to enable the usage of the rainwater in our daily life, at work, businesses or at  home. The use of rainwater as alternative water serves also as saving our expenses in water bills. Nevertheless the bigger purpose is off-course to save the world water consumption, contributing to a noble objective and purpose of sustaining the mother-nature.
How the system works
The system will first provide mechanism of collecting the rainwater at the selected premise. This normally is achieved through taping into the roof rainwater flow channel. The rainwater collected will be stored into a suitable container or tank which will be chosen base on the type, volume and number of peoples to use the rainwater. The stored rainwater will then be distributed via piping network to the point of usage of the rainwater.
The uses of rainwater
The rainwater is only suitable to be used for non-consuming purpose. These includes of the following usages;
1.       Outdoor water usage such as watering plants and washing cars
2.       Industrial water usage such as cleaning and washing of non-consuming products
3.       Indoor water usage for sport facilities and public places for non-consuming purposes

The benefit of the system

Benefits of the system can be summarised as follows;
1.       Reduce the consumption of potable water
2.       Simple concept and design
3.       Cost effective
4.       Easy to be assemble and configured
5.       All materials typically available at local hardware stores
6.       Safe and practical
7.       Save water usage cost
8.       Contribute towards reducing  world water consumption
