Rainwater harvesting - what you, community and mother nature get...#3
In the last two series we have reviewed water saved through RWH from toilet flush and plants watering. Lets look on the basis that you wash your car once a week and each time you used 25 litres of piped water. Replaced that with water collected rainwater harvesting, as before 25 milion liters of water can be saved a week, 100 milion a month and 1.2 billion litres saved every years. So far we have been able to saved about 80 billion of water yearly. Isn't that significant, lets RWH today. Dua minggu yang lepas kit telah melihat jumlah air terawat yang kita dapat jimatkan dari aktiviti pam tandas dan siraman taman. Mari kita lihat sekiranya kita membasuh kereta sekali seminggu dengan 25 liter setiap basuhan, kita mampu menjimatkan 100 juta liter sebulan sekiranya 1 juta 'kita' melakukannya. Ia berjumlah 1.2 bilion liter setahun. Tidakkah anda teruja, tadah air hujan sekarang.
