Malaysia can saved not less then 19 billions of water by rainwater harvesting

Rainwater harvesting is very useful and applicable in Malaysia. With a raining average of more then 200 days a year a lot of water can be saved with the implementation of rainwater harvesting in the domestic area.

Should 10% of Malaysian population (About 3 million peoples) use rainwater for the flushing of their toilets (average flushing per person of 2 per day of 9 titres every flush), monthly we will saved 1.62 billion liters and annually 19.5 billion liters. Isn't that significant.

We will convert that saving into individual water bill saving in the next posting. To get into gear to rainwater harvesting attend the workshop this 21st Jan 2014.
