In the last article we have introduced the first benefit of rain water harvesting (RWH). In this article we will explore the second benefit of RWH. Use our imagination how much we can save the piped water if we dont use it to water our plants. We have done the calculation in the last article if everyone of us saved 27 liters of water daily potentially we can save 33 billion litres of water yearly. Just assume that we save the same amount of water for the average family of four for using RWH to water our plants, now combimned we have saved not less than 66 billion litres water of water yearly.
